I'm Employed!

Hey, just wanted to say that I got a job!!!! woohoo. The job is only half-day, but its permanent. I will be teaching grade one Social Studies and Phys. Ed/Health to three grade 2 classes. I am also spending time in kindergarten classes. The school is called St. Angela, and its in Brampton, so its a bit of a commute, but not too bad. So I will be there in the mornings and in the afternoon I will still be available for supply/substitute jobs in the afternoon.
So, I have my foot in the door and I'm in a really good position to obtain a full-time permanent job for next Septmber, or maybe even before the end of this year. I'm pretty happy, excited, anxious, scared...its all good. Last week I was pretty depressed about not having a job or even any supply teaching calls, but now this week its different. Things can change over night..thats waht the Vice Principal told me. She also said that I was very lucky to get this...and that I should party tonight...so i think I will. Boss's orders! haha
