another JUNE baby!!

congratulations Ate Jen & Kuya Jean on the birth of your baby girl...LYDIA KATE!!
it's been a roller coaster of a week in the Lombos/Wlazlinski/Cabotaje/Agustin family...but in all the high and low emotions...we can all celebrate this HIGH we are experiencing now...Lydia Kate has been born!!
although her arrival was a little early, I am VERY glad that she too, like me, is a June baby!! YAY for June babies!! I LOVE the fact that her BIRTHDAY is only 8 days earlier than mine, and 7 days earlier than Jordan's!! now we can forever celebrate our birthday's together...although it kinda sucks that the focus will no longer be on me...but that's ok, b/c i made a promise to kuju that once his daughter was born, i would step down as the Lombos Princess (jokes) and crown his daughter as the NEW Lombos Princess...
i am very thankful that ALL of our prayers for the successful birth of Lydia Kate and the well being of Jennifer has been answered...THANK YOU LORD!!
once again, congratualtions to the NEW Lombos FAMILY!! only more great things can happen for us all!!

Just In Time...

Jean Louis is one lucky father. His loving wife, Jennifer, made it in time to deliver Lydia Kate to make him a very proud Daddy, just before Father's Day. We are all very happy for the three of you, Jean, Jen and LK.

Happy Father's Day, Jean. While we're at it, Happy Mother Jennifer's Day. And to you Lydia kate, welcome to our world.

Regards,

Uncle/Lolo Jess

My niece is born!

Jean and Jen delivered their baby daughter sometime after 2pm. I don't have all the details yet. Lidya Kate and Jennifer are both healthy and Jean said that Jen was in good spirits. The baby weighed in a little under 4lbs. I can't imagine how happy and proud her parents are right now. We can't wait to see her.
Thank you Lord for bringing my niece into our lives and watching over her and her mother every step of the way!

yay for us all!!

hey everyone...this is a quick note, since i didn't want to overshadow the GREAT accomplishment that mjoyce experienced!! again, we are SO VERY proud of you...i am kinda jealous b/c i have to wait until oct/nov to experience the whole graduating ceremony thing...anyhow, grams told me that ya'll went to milestones after...she also told me what she had for dinner and i told her that she was an expensive date!! lol!! well, i can't wait until our June 26th party at your house...i hope there's some shrimp there too!!

anyhow, tomorrow is the 4th anniversary of the Saka-Saca (aka Sucker-Sucker) group...we are having a celebration at the South Common CC...@ the beginning i thought this whole thing was ridiculous, but now that the party is coming closer and closer, i am getting excited...my friend ryan has been trying to get me all excited for the past month, and now i finally am...let's just see how much fun he'll have in a room full of flips and he's the only white guy...MUAHAHAHAHA!!

on a lighter/sadder note...today jennifer will be induced...let us all PLEASE pray for her and most especially baby jj...i haven't read so much of my nursing books than i have had in the past few days...all i hope and pray is that by the grace of God, He will look after both mom and baby and let them both be healthy...

ok all...i am trying to decide if i want to purchase destiny's child tickets or bsb tickets...if i go with dc then i have someone to go with who's willing to pay $63-83...but if i decide to go with bsb, then i have to go on my own, or with my mom and that means I have to pay for BOTH tickets...urgh!! ok...ttyl!!

Yay 4 Me

Thanks everyone for the Congratulations and the best wishes! I had a great day on Tuesday. Thanks to my cheering section (mom, dad, mj and martin) for making the ceremony less boring = ). I don't want to get all mushy, but i have a really great family who care about me and support me in all my endeavors. Without you guys I'd be a bum. (although some would think that I still am a bum even with my great family!! haha...beat you to it Albert). But like dad said, this is only the beginning, stay with me through everything...k? I 'm counting on you...and your bank accounts...to get me through the rest of my higher education! = ) Love you.

In other news, I saw Eva Longoria from Desperate Housewives today at Sherway gardens. And BSB is coming to concert at Molson Ampitheatre Aug 2! and Dave Moffat is in Canadian Idol. and i bought a Best of Ace of Base album from Best Buy. woohoo.

thats it.

Congratulations, Bernie!

My Dearest BJ,

Not counting the earlier eight years of kiddie school and another four years of teen school, it's been four years of hard academic work for you, Sweetheart. I do not even want to think about the physical and other hardships you had to endure during all these years. But at long last today, all this is coming to a successful, satisfying, and fulfilling culmination.

Today, you will be receiving your university degree along with your Diploma to prove it. There could never be a better school day than today. And for such an accomplishment, you deserve all kinds of admiration from everyone, not the least from me, your proud Daddy.

CONGRATULATIONS!, to you for all the hard work, all the patience and perseverance that you put into it and for the result that you are about to see and feel. I am very proud of you.

I know that your Mom feels and thinks the same way as I do, but much as I want to speak for her on this, I'll let her do the talking for herself. The same is true of your sisters Manang Janice, Cristina, and brother, Albert.

Please keep in mind though, that this is just the beginning of everything else that is important during the rest of your life. Your newly acquired skill, knowledge, guile and knowhow are just tools, albeit important tools, that will help you tackle the challenges of the future. It is up to you to use these tools, how to use them, when to use them to your best advantage. They are also tools that do not depreciate with use unless you allow them to. So make the right choices and stick to them.

Lastly, keep in mind too that at times, these tools may seem inadequate. However, I believe that this is a normal occurrence and it should never be a cause for despair. At any rate, on a remote chance that such thing happens, remember that your Mom and I will always be there for you for as long as either or both of us are still around.

I love you, Baby and again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Your loving Daddy.
