Good Reading

This may not be the type of reading you guys like to spend your time on but I wanted to share 2 books that I've recently had the chance to read.
The first is "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey. This book has been out for a while and you may have heard or even read it. This book has become somewhat of a "guide" for motivation and determination for me and has shown me how to capitalize on my strengths. Maybe it can lend some insight for someone on this forum.

Another good read is "Wild at Heart" by John Eldredge. Written with males in mind but nevertheless is a good read for anyone.

I would also like to throw this out there. I am in the process of putting together an executive summary, more specifically a comprehensive compensation and benefits package for a mock company. I am interested in obtaining examples to perhaps mold from. If anyone is familiar with their benefits and compensation plan or if you are in HR-all input is welcomed. thanks

bAcKsTrEeT men??

hey...i hope that all of you that are home RIGHT now is watching "Today"...the BBoys are on...it's SO weird that when they sing their old songs i STILL know the lyrics...I CAN'T wait until their new CD comes out b/c I AM SO GETTING IT!!

anyhow, i went and bought a bathing suit yesterday...i went to bikini village...although they are EXPENSIVE i finally found the one i want and the one i KNOW will last for more than 1 summer like most of my suits!! also, this time around...i didn't feel so yucky about choosing one, trying it on, asking if it looked ok...so, i ended up kinda with a three piece swimsuit...i also bought a wrap so that i wouldn't just be walking around in my suit when i shouldn't be!! i few more walks (like 2000000) and i should reach my ideal weight!!

anyhow, today looks like another VERY hot day...i got stuff to do outside and i am NOT looking fwd to it...maybe i'll take a trip to the mall!! or else stay @ home and continue reading "the da vinci code"...i know, i know, i'm a little behind...but i started reading it when i first got it, lost interest b/c it got too confusing...but now since i am forced to read in b4 i go into work, it's less confusing and is actually a very good book...now i want to research these paintings they talk about in the book...i can't wait unitl and if they make the movie!!

ok...well, that's it from me now....hope u guys have a great weekend!!

anyhow, it's been very LONG work days for me...i start @ 7:30am and i don't end until 4:30pm...right now, i'm up in this warehouse inputting data from tapes to a laptop...it's ok and all since i get left in an aisle all by myself...but it's SO hot!! and the boxes are HEAVY!! who knew a box of 80 tapes would weigh like 40lbs!! at least i get to work on my biceps!!

it's been really nice here lately...for you in the US, the whether here yesterday felt like it was something like 90'F...now that's hot!! today feels the same way...oh ya...wel finally turned on the A/C last night...i think our setting was too low that dad woke up frozen!! LOL!!

anyhow, i hope all of u guys are doing well...for now i will just dream of CUBA...well, i'd rather go 2 hawaii...but i guess i'll continue living my life through my cabotaje cousins!! btw...i need to buy a bathing suit for this weekend...any suggestions on where to get good quality for cheap?? call me!! PEACE!!
