Milestones

Yesterday, Albert reached two milestones, sort of. The first one was that for the first time, he had a haircut that's completely different from what all of you have seen on him. Albert is now wearing full sideburns. No more of that white-side wall hair-do (or more likely, head-do).

The second one is, he is now a holder of a license to drive; a motorized vehicle, that is. A real car, no less. Yes, it is only a learner's permit but it is a license, nevertheless, and it looks like the real one too .. I mean it looks like the full-license type with his handsome (Daddy thinks) picture too.

Hurray!!!!!

What's wrong with the weather?

Yesterday morning, we had a freezing rain and thick ice formed on the driveway, on the sidewalks and on the roads making it dangerous even just to take a walk, and more so, to drive. Our cars were all coated with thick shiny ice which made Albert's morning a big grumble as he had to scrape it all off before we could drive him to school. And it was a cold, cold day all day. What a day yesterday, was!

Today, however, it was spring-like warm (and that is warm). Except for the sun that remained hidden behind the clouds and the slight drizzle that forced itself into falling, the weather was perfect. What a change. Even us Canadians were amazed and perplexed. Hey, there's nothing wrong with the weather at all.

Hold on. This just in.. there wil be freezing rain again starting tonight and will last till tomorrow morning. Oh well.....!

Leftovers

Happy New Year. I am sure the year is still new so it is not late to greet you all Happy New Year. May the new year brings to all of us all the good things we dream about.

The year is indeed still new as far as our fridge is concerned. What I mean is, we are still eating out of our fridge good, that is, good, food from the new year's celebration. These food do not taste or look old at all and still very appetizing as ever. Nevertheless, I wish we could finish it all soon, so we can enjoy something else.

My second posting

Never mind any grammatical error for now. Please, please. We will try to get better. I is 10:20pm. Time to go to sleep but I think I am having fun. The kids are all busy reading their schoolbooks, preparing for school . but of course. Lately, Albert has been awake till 1:00am. At dinner tonight, he said that he fell asleep in class. he was luck he some sort of a teacher's pet. Otherwise, he would have been reprimamded.

Remember this, one usually can be a teacher's pet because he or she is a good student. Albert, is like that... Daddy thinks.

Here we are
