Welcome to the Sisons

On Thursday, September 1st, at about 3:30pm, the Cabotajes and the Serranos will be welcoming the Sisons at the Norfolk International Airport, Norfolk, Virginia. After more than twenty years of waiting, the Sisons are finally landing in North America as new immigrants of the USA.

It is going to be a happy and very emotional meeting among everyone involved. We have not seen the folks from the Philippines for almost fifteen years. And still, we will not be seeing all six of them as the older Sison kids, Popet, Jewel and Louwill will not be with them at the airport. They will be left behind in Manila with hope and prayers that they will follow their parents and sister, Janna, in the not too distant future. As it is, Willy, Marlene and Janna will be heartily, heartfully, gladly and emotionally welcomed to their new country and most importantly to our hearts. Mommy P had dreamed of this reunion while she was still with us. It is not the complete reunion that Mommy hoped for but it is a big step and we certainly hope that the strides will continue.

So roll out the Red Carpet and let's welcome Uncle Willy, Auntie Marlene, and cousin Janna to our midst. It will be a different Cabotaje clan from now on.

We wish them the best. And we will be patiently waiting for Popet, Jewel and Alex, and Louwill.
