Welcome Home
The Cuban vacationers, Janice and Bernadette, are back. They arrived at the Pearson Int'l Airport at 23:53 last night and came out of the customs/immigration area at about 00:30 with all their friends who went to Cuba with them. Thank God, they're home. Mom & Dad missed these two kids a lot. They have never been away from us more than overnight or two. Their two siblings, Cristina and Albert, although did not show much indication that they missed their sisters, I know they did and were very glad to see them again after a week away from their sights. I noticed though, that J & B, did show their emotions by insisting on hugging their brother and sister.
There are a lot of stories to tell but I'll let them tell them themselves. Let me say one thing, these kids are now darker than their Daddy.
We are going to miss Janice for another three weeks starting as early as next Saturday. She will take another vacation, this time all the way to the Philippines to meet relatives, known and unknown. She'll be traveling with Grandparents and Auntie Maite and Uncle Patrick.
