Yesterday was a bright and sunny day.
Today, it's been raining continuously
because that's what happens when
Ten Thousand Angels Cry.
Let us all pray for
Pope John Paul II
and for the man that God will choose to succeed him.

yesterday and today was definately a sad day for all catholics and non-catholics. yesterday at work i received condolences from my co-workers b/c of the death of Pope John Paul II. it was very thoughtful of them. one other server, she's a little older and polish, and i shared a moment yesterday in the middle of the restaurant where we offered one another sympathy and we just hugged for the longest time whispering things into eachother's ear. it was nice to share something like that with someone else...someone else who has the same belief as i do.

all of saturday i watched the news and waited...i was glad that they didn't have any news to tell...only because that meant the Pope was still alive. at about 2:30pm we left to go to Tim Hortons to have a little lunch before i went to work. i dropped mom and dad off at home where i then headed off to work. our radio was turned off...this was 3:45pm...when i turned it on while driving...the first thing i heard "the Pope, John Paul II, has died at the age of 84, with 26 years leading the catholic community, today at 2:37pm..." it took me by surprise...a tear rolled down my eyes...i was glad that the light was red...i did a little prayer to myself and thanked the Lord and the Pope for everything he has done for us...for letting us believe in something greater...he will be missed...

well...that's all i have to say for now...it still hurts to talk about him...but i did like the little tribute our parish had for him during our mass...they also held alittle something for him and the devine mercy today at our church at 3...

i will blog again soon!! take care everyone...know that the Pope is in a much better place now...
