Not just another year older

Well here I am again. It's been about a week since I posted though I have been reading all of your postings. I've just been trying to get the most of what's left of my 20's. That's right, I'm turning 30 in three days. Where has the time gone? Tara is throwing me a birthday party in Virginia Beach this weekend. She invited a lot of my friends that I grew up with, most of which will also be turning 30 later during the year. It should be loads of fun. I haven't seen some of these people in years. Some are coming from as far as California. Others aren't but a few hours away. The point is that they are all coming to see me and that's special. Everyone I'm sure are very busy and have families. To come celebrate with me would be an unforgettable moment. Got to go now. I have to climb Mt. Everest, go sky diving, build a time machine, and wrestle alligators. All before I turn 30. Less than 61 hours till my birthday.

Yes, its not just another year but another DECADE. But if you look back and there's nothing you'd like to change, then it was a good thirty years and promises another good thirty or more. You have a wife who obviously cares a lot about you, a child who can wipe out all the worries of the day with just one smile and an old family you can still depend upon for support.

What else do you need? Oh yeah, build that time machine. Uncle can benefit from it too.

Happy Birthday and may you have a lot more to come.
